I was recently at a restaurant which had separate male/female restrooms. I approached the women's bathroom but quickly rerouted to the mens after I noticed the cook was standing in the women's bathroom, door ajar, facing the toilet, talking away on his cell phone. Was unsure if he was taking care of business or simply having a meaningful conversation amidst a sordid locale. Either way, I was not going to be blamed for interupting the gentleman's business so I used the men's bathroom.
It was your typical dirty single room. Nothing to write home about. But what confused me was the toilet AND urinal combo. Why the need for both if it is a one-person-at-a-time sort of lavatory? Not to be presumptuous, but can't all of a man's business be taken care of with just a toilet; afterall, this was not a 60,000 person football stadium. Just a thought.
